SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC operations in October

The summer holidays are over, but the Indian summer invites you to enjoy more trips. In October, the eastern Krkonoše Mountains are quieter and more colourful, and you can enjoy popular routes without the holiday crowds. All three lifts at SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC will continue to take you up to the ridges, while the children’s parks, alpine coaster, rope park and scooter rental shops also remain open.

The Černohorský Express gondola operates daily in October until 11 October, from 9:00 to 16:00, every half hour. It then operates on the weekend of 24–25 October and during the autumn school holidays, 28 October–1 November. Please note: the gondola is closed on the weekend of 17–18 October.

Černohorský Express takes you from Janské Lázně up to Černá hora, where you can head to the Černá hora peat bog or combine your trip with the Treetop Walk and a visit to the bears Alice and Michal.

The Portášky chairlift operates on weekends from 9:00 to 16:00 and during the autumn school holidays, 28 October–1 November. The Pecka play landscape awaits you at the upper station, and you can also set off from here via Růžohorky towards Sněžka.

The Hnědý vrch chairlift operates in October on weekends and during the autumn school holidays from 9:00 to 16:00, every half hour. At the upper station stands the highest-altitude lookout tower in the Krkonoše Mountains, offering one of the most beautiful views of Sněžka.

Down from the ridges on a scooter

You can extend your lift trip with a downhill ride on a mountain scooter. On Černá hora, you can rent one right at the upper station of Černohorský Express and choose one of the routes leading down to Janské Lázně. Along the way, you can also stop at the Treetop Walk and visit the bears Alice and Michal.

From Portášky, you can ride a scooter back to Velká Úpa or continue via Pec pod Sněžkou. Rent your scooter at the upper lift station and simply return it at one of the SkiResort Live rental shops down in the valley.

Fun for children continues in autumn

In Pec pod Sněžkou, the Relaxpark alpine coaster and Lemurie children’s park remain open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.

You can visit the Monkey park rope park by the reservoir in Pec pod Sněžkou on weekends and during the autumn school holidays from 10:00 to 16:00.

The Kabinka children’s park on Černá hora is closed on 17 and 18 October, then open on weekends and during the autumn school holidays from 10:00 to 15:00.

The Pecka play landscape remains open daily until 1 November. On days when the Portášky chairlift is not operating, you will need to walk up to it.
