Has never skied before or cannot yet stop safely without help. Cannot control their skiing and needs full support from an instructor.

Can stop and turn

Skis in a snowplough and can stop and turn independently. Skis in control on gentle (blue) slopes.

Can ski blue runs

Can ski with parallel skis on blue runs and descend red runs in a snowplough. Is confident making basic turns.

Can ski red runs

Skis with parallel skis on both blue and red runs. Is confident controlling speed and making turns, and can adapt their skiing to the terrain.

Can ski black runs

Can ski with parallel skis even on challenging (black) runs. Can handle different snow conditions, terrain and speeds.
